A wound healing assay was done to evaluate the efficacy of Cica exosome in cell regeneration. In this experiment, a scratch was performed, and the cells were treated with varying concentration of Cica extract, Cca exosome, or 0.1% madecassoside to compare their wound-healing activity. Both Cica extract and exosome showed significantly higher cell regeneration effects compared to the control, in which Cica exosome exhibited even higher regeneration. The treatment with 1x107 particles/ml of Cica exosome even showed higher efficacy than Madecassoside, which is proven for its significant wound-healing activity (Figure 4).
