Cica ekzosoConfirmation of anti-wrinkle effect of C. asiatica exosome: Collagen type I alpha 1COL1A1 is a major component of type I collagen, which is the main component of the extracellular matrix of bone and skin. In this experiment, human dermal fibroblast (HDFa) cells were treated with varying concentrations of Cica extract or Cica exosome, or 20nM TGF%u03b21 to compare COL1A1 expression levels. The cells treated with Cica exosome had upregulated COL1A1 mRNA expression confirming its higher efficacy in wrinkle improvement compared to the extract. The treatment with 1x107 particles/ml of Cica exosome showed higher efficacy than TGF%u03b21, which is proven to upregulate the mRNA expression of COL1A1 (Figure 2).Confirmation of anti-wrinkle effect of C. asiatica exosome: Matrix metalloproteinase 1MMP or matrix metalloproteinase plays a role in degrading collagen and reducing elastin content, causing wrinkles and elasticity degradation in the skin. In this experiment, the human dermal fibroblast (HDFa) cells were treated with UVB (20mJ/cm2) to generate ROS, activating MMPs expression pathway. Cells were treated with varying concentrations of Cica extract, exosome, or 20 nM TGF%u03b21 to compare MMP1 expression levels. The cells treated with Cica exosome had downregulated MMP1 mRNA expression compared to
