These are primarily small leather goods: awards, jewelry boxes, corporate gift items for special occasions, luxury decorative objects, textile accessories and such. Recently, I%u2019ve been shifting toward interior objects. These will be larger, more luxurious and fewer in number but of higher value. I haven%u2019t focused on my own brand, so I combine the needs of companies with my own style. Here, I%u2019d like to emphasize something again. The only healthy way to design and produce such a wide range of products in different styles is to know the craft well. In addition to asking, %u201cWhich material? Which technique? Which production method?%u201d you should also ask, %u201cWhich craftsman?%u201d You can%u2019t work with the same craftsman for your entire life, as people come and go. So, as a designer, you must become your best craftsman. But, of course, you can%u2019t finish all the work yourself. That%u2019s why you always need a reliable craftsman. When business picks up and I can%u2019t manage everything, I work with a craftsman or a good workshop. But I always make the first prototype myself.What can you tell us about 2025 %u2018trends%u2019?As for trends%u2026 I%u2019ve never cared about them. Surely, if I were working in the commercial world, aiming for sales, it would be necessary. But as an independent Turkish designer, I continue on my own path and I do intend to create for many more years. What I do is undoubtedly very enjoyable.
