In this process, flexibility and innovation will be critical for the future success of these industries. In order to be successful in the competitive conditions of the global market, it is absolutely necessary to brand, to improve product quality, to make highly efficient, low-cost production using technology, to be competitive with prices in the global market and to reach global customers, and also to utilize fairs, social media, e-commerce and promotion opportunities well. Furthermore, it is crucial to prioritize the improvement of working conditions and the enhancement of occupational safety.Our priority is to closely follow the developments and new technologies in the global market, to produce upto-date, innovative machines, to have them manufactured, to introduce them to our customers and to ensure product development by receiving customer feedback. In this process, it is also of great importance to provide automation integration for our customers, to establish flexible production systems, to adapt to fast fashion and collections with machines, and to ensure the replacement and renewal of old technology ineffective machines and equipment used in production lines. Our expectations from the relevant ministries include support for the removal of additional taxes on the import of machinery to be used in production lines, bringing the VAT rate to the same rate as the textile sector, facilitating and expanding incentives, expanding and increasing the scope of fair supports, expanding the scope of R&D supports and providing financial support for energy efficiency projects . The most important message we can convey to other components of the industry is the need to strengthen coordination and collaboration. We need to develop projects for high efficiency production with low energy automation. We must make real and accurate cost calculations. We need to expand our marketing network with up-to-date and innovative models. We hope for a reduction in the geopolitical risks surrounding us, an improvement in the high inflation environment, easier access to financing, and for the quality and production capacity of Turkish footwear products to achieve the global recognition they truly deserve.
