While our main market is the footwear industry, we have been serving other sectors such as Medical, Automotive, White Goods, Occupational Safety, and more since 1999. Our production facility is located in the Karab%u00fck Organized Industrial Zone, covering an area of 8,000 square meters and employing approximately 150 staff members. Our facility is equipped for the production of all kinds of insoles. We export more than 50% of our production, mainly to Europe. At Akform, we produce insoles, the most important part of a shoe. When you try on shoes at a store, your first contact is with the insole, and it%u2019s the insole that gives you an idea of the comfort of the shoe. To better illustrate the significance of the insole in a shoe, let me give you an example: even if the outsole of a shoe is made of platinum, the upper of gold, and the lining of silver, if the insole inside is not of high quality and comfort, none of those elements matter. A high-quality and comfortable insole not only gives the message %u201cpick me, not the others,%u201d ensuring the sale of the shoe, but also provides satisfaction to the user.Since insole production is a labor-intensive sector, we have recently been struggling to find qualified workers, even though our production is based in Anatolia. Additionally, we are very easily affected by exchange rate fluctuations and face difficulties with price competition in the export markets we serve. To maintain our market share amidst these challenging conditions, we primarily plan to increase our work efficiency and invest in automation in areas where it is possible.We expect our relevant ministries to reduce procedures for incentives aimed at SMEs, making it easier to access these supports and also to expedite processes in customs for machinery investments by prioritizing and accelerating them.
