As Besa Suni Deri, we have been serving the shoe sub-industry since 1984. We produce imitation leather for the upper parts of shoes. I think that labor-intensive sectors in Turkey will experience difficulties if they cannot brand themselves and keep up with new technologies. As a company, since we are part of the labor-intensive cycle in Turkey, we invest in and focus our efforts on product development, new technology and new transformations. In the new world order, carbon footprint and sustainability will take an important place in our lives. Therefore, all companies must align their production processes with these priorities. In the emerging new world order, it is essential for everyone to recognize the importance of sustainability and carbon footprint awareness and take the necessary measures to make improvements. As Besa Suni Deri, we have grasped the awareness and importance of carbon footprint and sustainability issues in the changing world and we are taking steps to improve these processes.We are going through a difficult period in terms of labor-intensive sectors. We are aware of the global contraction in the world. I expect our government to increase investment incentives for machinery and technological changes, to increase social support for enterprises with a certain number of employees, to increase solutions to support exports and exporters, and to inspect and control imports to the industry. The inflation that occurred in the world after the pandemic and the consequent decrease in consumption affected the labor-intensive sectors the most. Our country was affected more than other countries in this process. For this reason, I hope that all the components of our sector will support each other, make realistic studies, help each other and get out of this bottleneck with the lightest possible impact. The footwear industry in Turkey has a long history and as Besa, we care about the industry. Our goal is to benefit both our country and the footwear industry by investing in people and following new technologies for the future of the sector. We believe that the footwear industry in Turkey is strong and we believe that the sector will overcome these problems.
